Resad2 is a complete system of reservation including the functions of optimization through a Web Service for optimal passenger transportation to serve transport hubs like railway stations or airports.
Resad 2 © aims to provide regions with a system of reservation of transport to train stations, avoiding the need for passengers to drive their own car to reach public transport (train, planes).
It is commonly recognized that rail transportation is low polluting and very confortable (arrival of passengers directly downtown, stress reduction and less tiring). Resad 2 © operates as an intermodal service to reach farer destinations.
The first prototype is serving the train station of Besancon since 2001 and operated by the Community of Agglomeration and the CTB (subsidiary of Kéolis company) under the name “Evolis-gare”.
The purpose is :
- to deploy and manage a system of convergent demand responsive transport on a transport hub (station, airport, centre town…),
- to improve the intermodality of transport.
How does that work?
- collect and manage reservations
- create optimized lines / routings under the constraint of schedules of arrival and times of transport (departure of the trains, for example)
- roadmaps edition.
Thanks to its kernel of optimization, Resad2 allows, in urban environments :
- to reduce the number of vehicles usedt
- to cluster a maximum of travelers in these vehicles
- to reduce the operating costs of the transport by minimizing the distances covered,
while respecting the strict time constraints imposed by travelers and intermodal schedules.

Un système complet de réservation incluant les fonctions d’optimisation du WEB SERVICE pour les transports de voyageurs à destination des aéroports, gares sncf, gares routières et centres ville.
